Total Remuneration $157,855 to $180,372 pa (including salary of $133,390 to $152,417 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)

The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences offers a range of vocational education and training certificates, and undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, across a number of health disciplines, via on-campus or flexible education with online study.
As a key member of the academic team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our student community. Your primary objective will be to lead and engage in the delivery of foundational and profession-focused units, facilitating tutorials, practical classes, and supervising research projects to provide exceptional education and support to our diverse student body. We seek a proactive, detail-oriented educator with substantial teaching and research experience, dedicated to fostering high-quality learning for nursing students both on and off campus, empowering them to reach their academic and professional goals. You will effectively manage applications, oversee projects, adhere to educational standards, and consistently maintain a high level of service excellence.

Position Requirements
Possession of doctoral qualification (PhD) in a relevant discipline.
Proven ability to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate University students.
Strong understanding of current professional and educational issues in higher education.
Ability to engage and work effectively with students and colleagues.
Ability to develop innovative teaching materials that ensure student learning outcomes.
Willing to obtain a qualification in adult education to meet Registered Training Organisation standards (e.g., Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a Bachelor/Graduate Certificate in Tertiary or Adult Education).
