Teaching Focused Academic Level C Salary - $131,498 to $153,889 pa 
Plus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leave 
Casuarina Campus  Contribute to a new medical program at Charles Darwin University (CDU) and help create more doctors 
for the Northern Territory (NT)  About the Position 
As a Senior Lecturer Medical Education and Assessment, you will be part of a newly established medical 
program at CDU that aims to graduate and retain more First Nations and local resident doctors in the NT 
to serve the NT community. You will have a pivotal role in providing expertise in the area of 
development of medical curriculum focused on aligning learning outcomes, assessment and evaluation, 
ensuring the program meets the Australian Medical Council (AMC) Standards for Assessment and 
Accreditation of Primary Medical Programs while addressing the unique healthcare needs of the region 
and the purpose of the program. 
 
About You 
To be successful, you will require:
A PhD or Professional Doctorate in a related field and proven experience in a similar role.Post graduate qualifications in medical education.Demonstrated experience in medical education, including curriculum development and assessment design and evaluation methodologiesDemonstrated effectiveness in teaching and mentorship of medical students.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse backgrounds.Commitment to promoting cultural safety, diversity, equity, and inclusion in medical educationThis position is subject to Charles Darwin University Affirmative Action Priority Recruitment measures, in

Remuneration 
Appointment to this role will be at Teaching Focused Level C. The base salary will be in the range of 
$131,498 to $153,889 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $153,852 to 
$180,050 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
