Senior Lecturer in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) (Level C)
Based in Clinical Health Sciences at the City East campus
Full-time or part time (0.6 – 1.0 FTE), fixed term contract until 30 June 2025
Starting salary: $137,488 pro rata per annum (plus 17% superannuation)
About the RoleThis position will make an outstanding contribution to the academic leadership of Clinical Health Science's delivery and teaching of the Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) and other postgraduate nursing programs.
The successful applicant will be an endorsed Nurse Practitioner (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia) who will contribute to the advancement of the Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) program through strong industry relationships, participation in clinical practice activities, teaching, supervision and assessment of Nurse Practitioner candidates.

Essential Skills and Experience
Current Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) registration as a registered nurse and endorsed Nurse Practitioner with evidence of current professional indemnity insurance cover
Bachelor of Nursing and a Master of Nursing or equivalent qualification
Demonstrated expertise, knowledge and contribution to the discipline of Nursing
Demonstrated experience / practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the public or private sector
Experience in developing a culture of teaching and learning excellence and in using a range of contemporary teaching methodologies
Demonstrated experience of and access to the Medicare Benefits Schedule and the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme and associated administration and legislative requirements (Desirable)
