Teaching - Tertiary (Education & Training)Full time$110127 - $154558 p.a. + 17% SuperannuationAcademic Level B | $110,127 - $130,325 p.a.Academic Level C | $134,362 - $154,558 p.a.About the Roles (Please refer to the attached position descriptions for a full list of roles and responsibilities)Lecturer Teaching Specialist (Academic)Create, coordinate and conduct inspiring teaching informed by approaches that enhance the student experience, with a focus on Law topics, across all levels and modes of the College.Contribute to the planning and evaluation of these topics, undertaking the role of Topic Coordinator as required.Make an independent contribution to the review, renewal, development and design of curricula and courses that are attractive to existing and new cohorts of students and that nurture creativity and critical-thinking skills.Participate in the College's administrative activities such as membership of committees and working groups and attendance at college meetings.Maintain professional knowledge relevant to teaching within their discipline through scholarship and professional development.Completion of a PhD or EdD in Law, or equivalent qualification.Lecturer Teaching Specialist (Practitioner)Contribute to the planning and evaluation of these topics, undertaking the role of Topic Coordinator as required.Make an independent contribution to the review, renewal, development and design of curricula and courses that are attractive to existing and new cohorts of students and that nurture creativity and critical-thinking skills.Provide support, academic counselling and professional advice to students concerning their studies, professional development and career opportunities.Make effective use of innovations and technologies in teaching practice.Undertake activities that promote the development of productive partnerships to provide opportunities for students and promote graduate employability.Completion of a PhD in Law, or equivalent qualifications and equivalent professional experience in a relevant area.Senior Lecturer Teaching Specialist (Academic)Create, coordinate and conduct inspiring teaching informed by approaches that enhance the student experience, with a focus on Law topics, across all levels and modes of the College.Contribute to the planning and evaluation of these topics, undertaking the roles of Topic Coordinator and Course Coordinator as required.Play a lead role in the review, renewal, development and design of curricula and courses that are attractive to existing and new cohorts of students and that nurture creativity and critical-thinking skills.Provide support, academic counselling and professional advice to students concerning their studies, professional development and career opportunities.Make effective use of innovations and technologies in teaching practice.Provide leadership in, coordination of, development of and/or leading international activities including student mobility programs, internationalisation of curricula and ensuring the relevance of curricula to international students or that enhance intercultural skills development in students.Completion of a PhD, or EdD in Law or related discipline, or equivalent qualification.Senior Lecturer Teaching Specialist (Practitioner)Play a lead role in the review, renewal, development and design of curricula and courses that are attractive to existing and new cohorts of students and that nurture creativity and critical-thinking skills.Provide support, academic counselling and professional advice to students concerning their studies, professional development and career opportunities.Make effective use of innovations and technologies in teaching practice.Engage in coaching, mentoring, supervising student projects; research higher degree supervision as an Adjunct Supervisor.Completion of a PhD in Law, or equivalent qualifications and equivalent professional experience in a relevant area.About the College of Business, Government and Law:The College of Business, Government and Law is a forward-thinking, future-focused place to work, teach and research.
