Senior Lecturer in Clinical Psychology (Teaching Focused)

Fixed-term, 2 years, full-time, with the possibility of extension. Current UNE Staff: In taking up this appointment, please be aware your current fixed term or permanent role will cease the day prior to you taking this position.
$131,671 to $151,624 per annum (Level C).
Plus 17% employer superannuation.
Salary packaging options are available.
4 weeks annual leave plus Christmas week shutdown, per annum.
Requires attendance at UNE Armidale Campus with opportunities for remote, flexible, or hybrid work.

About the role
As a Teaching Focused Academic (60% Teaching; 30% Service; 10% Scholarship), you will contribute to the innovation of learning, teaching, and assessment within UNE's postgraduate professional psychology programs. A key part of the role within the Clinical Psychology Program would be as the Unit Coordinator of postgraduate units delivered both online and face-to-face (e.g., School Psychology) and as Course Coordinator of the Master of Psychology (Clinical) Advanced Entry (MPSYAE).
You will lead in the design and delivery of education at the University within the context of the Future Fit strategic plan. You are expected to make a significant contribution to teaching practice within your department, school, or faculty, and will be showing appropriate levels of leadership in the scholarship of learning and teaching, educational design, and delivery.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A PhD in Psychology, a postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology with current General Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia, and Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology.
Hold or be eligible for Psychology Board of Australia Approved Supervisor Status.
Experience delivering effective clinical supervision to Provisional Psychologists.
Demonstrated leadership capacity relevant to course coordination and strategic innovation.
Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and engagement skills.
