The Senior Lecturer in Business Analytics provides leadership in delivering excellence in teaching and learning across the suite of Business Analytics topics and courses in the Business discipline. Responsible for making a significant and wide-ranging contribution to leadership in teaching and scholarship of teaching using innovations in teaching practices and technologies to deliver excellence in teaching, the Senior Lecturer also holds a key leadership role in service to the College of Business, Government and Law.
This role involves the creation, delivery and continuous quality improvement of innovative, inspiring university-level education, provision of educational leadership and dissemination of best practice, ensuring awareness and utilisation of contemporary education principles and making effective use of innovations and technologies in teaching practice. Additional components include the provision of support, academic counselling and professional advice to students concerning their studies, professional development and career opportunities along with participation in the College's administrative activities such as membership of committees and working groups and attendance at College meetings.

With a PhD or equivalent qualification to succeed in this role you will have demonstrated evidence of making an independent contribution to teaching and the scholarship of teaching in Business Analytics, including involvement in subject coordination and curriculum development and teaching methodology at a tertiary level, along with:
Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to establish effective relationships with staff, students and industry. Evidence of sustained use of learning and teaching approaches (face to face and online) which enhance student experience and success at a tertiary level. Proven capability to develop programs for international off-shore delivery independently or in collaboration with external partners. Experience with engagement within a relevant external professional domain and within a wider community context at local, national or international level. Candidates with additional knowledge and experience in areas such as Project Management or Supply Chain will be viewed favourably.
