About the Role This role involves the coordination of field placements for our community service courses and teaching our newly implemented Bachelor of Community Services course in Adelaide.
You will be pivotal in ensuring students are prepared academically and practically for their work placements.
You will ensure proactive compliance with regulatory framework, enhance student engagement and ensure academic success through effective placements.
Key Responsibilities include: Teach the next generation of community service workers.
Provide leadership and develop current, relevant material for fieldwork placements Oversee the assessment process to align with learning outcomes, ensuring the quality and compliance of the program with AE standards and regulatory bodies Engage in professional development to enhance teaching quality and stay current with emerging practices Deliver engaging placement induction programs and ensure students meet the requirements for successful placement experiences Incorporating feedback from agencies to enhance the onboarding process Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to ensure adherence to WHS policies and procedures; Actively participate in the investigation and resolution of incidents.
Report incidents to the Course Coordinator/ HOD including potential breach of Code of Conduct/policies, Health & Safety risks About You Post-graduate qualification in Community Services, Welfare Work, Human Services, Social Work, or a related discipline.
Eligibility for membership in relevant professional bodies (ACWA, APHRA, AASW, APS) is required.
