As a result, you will play a significant role within the Discipline.In this Education Specialist position, you will lead the Social Work and Human Services Field Education Unit and contribute to the Discipline by:Providing coordination of and oversight over field education for Social Work and Human Services programs, by networking within industry to establish and sustain high-quality placements for Social Work and Human Services students,Integrating industry-currency (knowledge, practice, and partnerships) into field education leadership, teaching and research efforts,Demonstrating expertise and initiative in design and delivery of online and on-campus Social Work and Human Services courses, including placement courses, andWorking collaboratively with other Social Work and Human Services academics to ensure our courses adopt a pervasive practice orientation, enabling our students to be placement- and practice-ready.What will help you succeed:You will hold membership of or be eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).You will possess a doctoral qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing in the field of Social Work and Human Services.
