About the role We are seeking a forward-thinking, dynamic, and innovative scholar to join our team as a Senior Lecturer (Level C) or Associate Professor (Level D) in the field of Speech Pathology. The successful candidate may also be considered for a leadership role within our Speech Pathology program. The appointee will bring expertise and experience across various areas of Speech Pathology education and will provide high-level academic leadership within the discipline.
In this role, you will be involved in the development, implementation, and teaching of our Speech Pathology program. You will also conduct research, secure nationally recognised research grants, and supervise undergraduate (Honours) and postgraduate (Masters and PhD) students. Your contributions will be vital in advancing our Speech Pathology research and fostering collaborations within the School of Health Sciences and across the University.
About You The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership in Speech Pathology, including curriculum development, accreditation processes, and general academic leadership within the School. They will deliver seminars and learning opportunities to academic staff, fostering peer mentorship. Expertise in coordinating, preparing, delivering, and evaluating teaching subjects, incorporating contemporary methods such as technology-enabled learning, is essential.
Experience in curriculum development, including leadership in program and subject development, implementation, and evaluation, is crucial. The candidate will lead and participate in research, contributing to building a research team and culture in Speech Pathology and related disciplines. They will secure competitive grants, collaborate across sectors, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research students.

Remuneration Package: Academic Level C Senior Lecturer - $169,542 to $194,484 p.a. (comprising Salary of $143,410 to $164,728 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
Academic Level D Associate Professor - $202,792 to $222,734 p.a. (comprising Salary of $171, 829 to $188,873 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
