Senior Leasing Officer

Work for Australian Federal Government who is seeking a Senior Leasing Officer to start immediately for 6 months.
This role is APS level 6.The BusinessThe department works to enhance their industries.
They create new and maintain existing export opportunities, to provide gains for the Australian economy.
They manage bio security risks to Australia to protect our multi-billion dollar industries and our way of life.The RoleAssist to deliver the department's strategic approach to its property portfolio covering property lease acquisitions, management and disposals.Assist to undertake property lease negotiations, acquisitions and divestment's.Assist in the development of leasing strategies to support asset management priorities and property efficiencies through reduction of footprint and/or lease savings.Prepare written submissions, briefs, reports, and other correspondence with stakeholders to support property-related decisions.Maintain leasing data to support management of the department's property portfolio, ensuring contract compliance and optimisation of the property portfolio.ExperienceExercise both initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures.Leasing experience at a Senior Level is desired.
Preferably within federal government departments.Provide accurate advice including anticipating problems and contributing to issues management.Work positively and collaboratively, with a focus on customer service and maintaining open lines of communication.Coordinate work, manage competing priorities and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.This role will be paying up to $52ph + super, at APS 6, starting immediately.
