Reporting to the General Manager Community and Place, and assisted by a highly capable team, this diverse role is responsible for the delivery of exceptional communications, leading a sizeable team in the development and maintenance of Council's brand, and ensuring outstanding internal and external customer excellence across the organisation.
Some of the key activities include responsibility and oversight of: Marketing and brand strategy for all internal and external communications Provision of expert advice and recommendations to customers and stakeholders Ensuring the delivery of efficient, effective and quality customer service Ensuring systems and processes are in place that support the delivery of efficient and effective internal and external customer service Recruiting, mentoring and leading team members to focus on customer service and experience excellence.
You are community focussed, collaborative and able to spearhead initiatives that showcase Council's services and the community benefit being delivered.
Tertiary qualified, you are a proven leader who empowers teams for success, lives the City of Launceston Values, and has a demonstrated track record of success in a similar role.
