We are seeking a skilled Senior/Lead Transmission Line Engineer to join their dynamic team, focusing on power generation, transmission, and distribution. This role involves integrating advanced solutions into the design and refurbishment of overhead transmission lines, with an emphasis on cost-effectiveness and technical competitiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and experience in various energy projects, encompassing both traditional and renewable solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Integrate the firm's innovative solutions into new builds and refurbishments of overhead transmission lines.Design and optimize transmission lines with composite line posts and braced line posts up to 420 kV, focusing on insulation coordination, clearance specifications, structural geometry, electrical effects, and load-strength coordination.Produce comprehensive design packages, including drawings and reports for transmission line solutions.Engage in R&D activities to optimize transmission lines with composite insulation.Identify and capture business opportunities to incorporate advanced products and solutions into grid projects.Stay updated on technical standards and codes to ensure compliance and best practices.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance transmission line project outcomes.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering.Minimum of 10 years of experience in transmission line engineering using PLS CADD and PLS POLE.Proficiency in designing compact transmission lines with insulated cross-arms.Proven expertise in holistic optimization and cost evaluation for transmission lines.Familiarity with relevant technical standards and codes.Comprehensive understanding of all phases of transmission line projects up to 420 kV, including planning, design, procurement, and execution.Demonstrated experience in developing innovative design solutions for compact transmission lines.If you have the necessary skillsets, please do not hesitate to apply :)!
