Overview of the team
The In this role you will need a keen interest in digital content production and industry engagement. The Engagement and Influence team is seeking an experienced all-round professional to play an active role within its small team to deliver on the team's objectives in a newly developed role.

Working in a modern office environment within Canberra's CBD, the E&I team uses a dedicated fully equipped multimedia studio for its digital content production.

Reporting to and supporting the Head of Engagement and Influence, you will be responsible for leading our safety promotional program, while managing our engagements with our stakeholders to influence safety outside of the investigation process.


The key duties of the position include
Safety Promotion Supporting the production of and driving the promotion of multimedia content (vodcast/podcast, video production), including the development of episode content, writing storyboards, sourcing and briefing talent. Developing and maintaining an effective social media calendar for promoting timely safety messaging. This includes some written and visual content development. Developing and delivering effective promotional campaigns to influence specific safety issues or concerns. Engaging effectively with portfolio agencies and industry associations on the joint production and promotion of safety education materials. Engagement Developing and maintaining the aviation, rail and marine stakeholder engagement plans, includes managing the delivery of the identified engagement actions within those plans and providing regular reporting and updates to senior management. Researching and producing engaging PowerPoint presentations with talking points for presentation by the Chief Commissioner. Planning and coordinating stakeholder events often within tight budget constraints. Monitoring communications into the team and managing written responses to internal and external stakeholders. Managing the development, delivery and evaluation of various stakeholder survey/s.
