Your new role Underwrite new business and renewals of high complexity which align with our underwriting strategy, authority levels and service standards.Provide exceptional service and handle key portfolios/accounts with brokers.Strengthen relationships with all stakeholders to deliver business retention, growth, and profitability targets.Maintain in-depth knowledge of current legislation, best practice, underwriting, systems, products, and organisational guidelines.Focus on increasing and sharing knowledge of QBE capability, risk appetite and products as well as brokers' operations to strengthen our delivery of innovative solutions.Contribute to knowledge sharing, development, and mentoring of Underwriters and Graduates where required.Monitor and communicate activity within your portfolio, brokers and market peers and report on opportunities and risks to improve results.About you To be successful in this role you will have:
Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to quickly develop relationships.Proven experience negotiating and influencing within the insurance industry.Working knowledge of risk management and portfolio management, highly regarded.Be a self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills, problem solving and process improvement experience.Strong customer service experience and collaborative mindset.Insurance experience essential.Previous experience in Motor Fleet Underwriting highly regarded but not essential.Benefits We offer a range of benefits to help provide holistic support for your work life, whatever your circumstances.
