Senior / Lead Electrical Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior or Lead Electrical Engineer to join our growing Perth Engineering group to meet the increased demand for critical metals and battery mineral projects.
Skills, Experience, and Responsibilities:Sound understanding of HV/LV electrical schematics design in mining/mineral processing environments.Ability to independently develop electrical design drawings (SLDs, Schematics, and Terminations) from first principles, relevant standards, and best practices.Proven experience in the mining sector in design, commissioning, testing, and site-relevant experiences.Leadership skills to manage a design project from conception to delivery.High degree of communication skills to provide direction to lesser experienced engineers, designers, and drafters.Strong written and verbal communication skills to write technical documentation, reports, and scopes of work.Knowledge of power systems to carry out fault studies, earthing design, lightning protection design, and load flow modelling.Perform electrical calculations including load studies, cable sizing, electrical equipment sizing calculations, etc.Prepare specification documentation for electrical equipment in a mining environment.Experienced Electrical Engineers are encouraged to apply online via the advert.
