Senior / Lead Electrical Engineer

Wave International is a resource development firm with 20 years of global experience in engineering, project delivery, project and asset management, providing project strategies and solutions across critical metals, battery minerals, mineral sands, bulk commodities, gold, base metals, and more.We are currently seeking a Senior or Lead Electrical Engineer to join our growing Perth Engineering group to meet the increased demand for critical metals and battery mineral projects.Skills, Experience, and Responsibilities:Sound understanding of HV/LV electrical schematics design in mining/mineral processing environments.Ability to independently develop electrical design drawings (SLDs, Schematics, and Terminations) from first principles, relevant standards, and best practices.Proven experience in the mining sector in design, commissioning, testing, and site-relevant experiences.Leadership skills to manage a design project from conception to delivery.High degree of communication skills to provide direction to lesser experienced engineers, designers, and drafters.Strong written and verbal communication skills to write technical documentation, reports, and scopes of work.Knowledge of power systems to carry out fault studies, earthing design, lightning protection design, and load flow modelling.Perform electrical calculations including load studies, cable sizing, electrical equipment sizing calculations, etc.Prepare specification documentation for electrical equipment in a mining environment.Experienced Electrical Engineers are encouraged to apply online via the advert.Please direct enquiries in confidence to Seda at ****** application will include the following questions:What's your expected annual base salary?How much notice are you required to give your current employer?
