Have you got experience advising across a wide range of commercial legal topics like the supply of goods and services, supply chains, ethical trading (including modern slavery, bribery and environmental laws), marketing and advertising and general contract law?

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract role.
About The Role In this new role of Senior Lawyer Writer, Commercial, you will:
Write, edit and update legal know-how resources, including practice notes, checklists, standard documents and clauses, drafting notes and legal updates in accordance with established writing style and guidance.Keep up to date on current market developments in specialist practice area.Meet with external customers and industry or sector experts to build understanding of law and practice related to specialist practice areas to inform premium content delivered, build understanding of customer needs and assess the relevance, quality and suitability of published information.Assist in the development and planning of legal know-how practice area specific content to be published online.May respond to feedback or questions raised through subscriber feedback service in accordance with established guidance.May assist sales team by participating in sales calls and demonstrating services to existing and potential customers.May assist marketing team by participating in webinars and other marketing initiatives. About You To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following requirements:
Admitted to practise as a lawyer in Australia, with 5 years+ PQE experience, working as a commercial lawyer, most recently in a top/mid-tier private practice or in-house role.Experience in and knowledge of some, not necessarily all, of the following areas: supply of goods and services, supply chains, agency, distribution, outsourcing, ESG and ethical trading, advertising and marketing.
Experience or an interest in employment law will also be highly regarded, though not essential.A genuine and demonstrable interest in helping to re-invent the way legal know-how works.A demonstrable interest and ability in writing with excellent attention to detail.Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with your manager and the rest of the Practical Law team.A proactive, "get it done" mindset, always looking for solutions.A positive attitude, team-oriented, flexible, and analytical.
