The roleWe have an opportunity for a Senior Lawyer to join our back-end Major Projects and Construction team located in Melbourne on a full-time basis.
You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients and contribute to a market recognised, high performing practice.
We act on government infrastructure procurement and a range of private sector projects across Australia, particularly in the energy and transport sectors.
In addition to running complex litigation and alternative dispute resolution, our back-end team works closely with the front-end of the practice to support our clients on project delivery and contract management issues.
Skills & ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will have:
3+ years experience as a Senior Lawyer with solid dispute resolution experienceA drive to provide outstanding service with attention to detail and problem solving skillsAmbition and a proactive approach to your work and mentoring junior staff, be resilient and a self-starterThe ability to interact confidently with our clients and build meaningful relationshipsThe desire to work as part of a close-knit, collaborative and high-performing teamIn our Major Projects and Construction practice, you will find:Be part of a team and community at the forefront of development of construction law in AustraliaPartners with collaborative and supportive leadership styles, with a genuine understanding of flexibility and how to balance high performance with a down-to-earth and pragmatic approach to work and life.The ability to learn from leaders in the industry, working on some of the largest and most high-profile projects and procurements in the countryThe opportunity to challenge yourself with exposure to a variety of different clients and matters, across various industry sectors#LI-JS
