Legal 1 (APS Level 4 to Executive Level 1) - Lawyer/Senior Lawyer

The Legal Advisings team is responsible for providing legal advice to HPRG clients, principally in relation to statutory interpretation of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989, Therapeutic Goods (Charges) Act 1989, Gene Technology Act 2000, Industrial Chemicals Act 2019, and a range of subordinate legislation relevant to those Acts.The Legal Advisings team also provides advice on information law matters, including advising on FOI matters and managing internal and Information Commissioner reviews of FOI decisions.We are seeking suitably qualified Legal APS4 - EL1 Senior Lawyers and Lawyers for the Legal Advisings Section of the Health Products Regulation Group, including the Therapeutic Goods Administration.
