The role
Reporting to a Senior Principal Lawyer, you will be responsible for working on allocated legal requests collaboratively with clients and collegiately with other lawyers, including briefing external lawyers.
You will also communicate effectively, clearly and succinctly with a diverse client group, in a variety of settings, with legal accuracy and a practical, fit for purpose, customer focus.
The successful person You must hold a Bachelor of Laws degree and admission, or eligibility for immediate admission, as a barrister, solicitor or legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of Queensland.It is highly desirable that you have a minimum 3 years post admission experience, preferably practising corporate and commercial law (including contract drafting and negotiation; procurement; ICT; clinical research; IP; funding; property; construction; infrastructure and other major projects; insurance; joint venture advisory), noting successful applicants will be required to assist the workload of other streams from time to time.
