Reporting to the Senior Principal Lawyer your role will be responsible for communicating effectively, clearly and succinctly with a diverse client group in a variety of settings with legal accuracy.
In managing your workload, you will be required to prioritise tasks efficiently, including progressing urgent legal matters in accordance with client expectations and overall objectives.

Working collaboratively with clients and collegiately with other lawyers (including briefing external lawyers), within client agreed time frames to provide authoritative legal advice an direction.Communicating effectively, clearly and succinctly with a diverse client group, in a variety of settings, with legal accuracy and a practical, fit for purpose, customer focus.The essential requirements for this role are:
A Bachelor of Laws degree and admission, or eligibility for immediate admission, as a barrister, solicitor or legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of Queensland.Minimum 3 years post admission experience, preferably in claims management and litigation (Courts and Tribunals). noting successful applicants will be required to assist the workload of other streams in the Legal Branch from time to time.About us Queensland Health (the Department) is responsible for the overall management of the public health system in Queensland.
