ARC Justice is an independent, for-purpose, human rights organisation incorporating the Loddon Campaspe Community Legal Centre, the Goulburn Valley Community Legal Centre and Housing Justice. We have offices in Bendigo and Shepparton and work with people in regional and rural Victoria who experience disadvantage relating to their housing, family, relationship, consumer, economic, social and civil rights.
About the roles
Due to growth and new funding, ARC Justice currently has several opportunities for Senior Lawyers to work in the following practice areas:
Civil
Family Violence
Family Law
Tenancy
These positions would ideally suit a candidate with considerable experience in providing legal advice, casework and representation. Financial assistance will be provided to support candidates requiring to relocate.
Positions are available at either of our offices in Bendigo or Shepparton.
What you bring
Experience in one or more areas of law relevant to disadvantaged communities, particularly our other key practice areas of family violence, child protection and general civil.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to engage with people who have complex vulnerabilities.
A commitment to access to justice and equity principles.
