About the Role
Best suited to a
Senior Landscape Architect
or
Associate Landscape Architect , you will work on a diverse range of projects including open spaces in residential developments and public realms such as streetscapes, parks, and urban revitalisation. With a strong pipeline of projects from prominent clients, you'll have the opportunity to shape iconic projects and see your designs progress from concept to execution. Responsibilities will include:
Providing expertise on public domain, open space and urban precinct projects, and providing sector experience on residential, health, education or similar projects ensuring high quality design outcomes are achieved across all scales.
Providing expertise on projects including precinct structure plans, master plans, urban design frameworks and planning proposals, ensuring high quality design outcomes are achieved across all scales.
Contributing design talent and passion to think spatially and work collaboratively with other sectors to achieve the best outcomes across all projects.
Researching, developing, and preparing plans, strategies, guidelines, policies and initiatives to support the delivery of a high-quality urban outcomes in growth areas.
Leading complex projects from concept through to implementation.
Providing visually compelling communication to enable diverse audiences to imagine and realise the future opportunities for a place, neighbourhood, or precinct.
Working collaboratively with internal and external teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Mentoring junior designers and contributing to the Architectus studio culture.
About You
We look forward to welcoming someone with:
Prior experience as a Senior Landscape Architect or Associate Landscape Architect.
Tertiary education in Landscape Architecture or a related field in addition to sound knowledge of construction methods, detailing and Australian Building Codes.
Demonstrated experience managing projects and leading teams, with a strong focus on design.
Strong communication skills to present confidently to clients and stakeholders.
Design communication skills to effectively express concepts through images and diagrams.
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to collaborate across all levels.
Experience using 3D modelling, Rhino, SketchUp and Adobe suite.
