Based on an all-inclusive design, construct and maintenance model, the business has been growing and evolving which has continued to strengthen our unique brand. TDL now employs over 130 people on projects in Perth and the Southwest.THE ROLEDue to continued growth, TDL are excited to have an opportunity for a creative and skilled Senior Landscape Architect with refined horticulture knowledge to join our Commercial Design team. This permanent full-time role will be responsible for delivering high quality landscaping designs that exceed client expectations and contribute to shaping the future of commercial landscapes.You will contribute to the design and delivery of significant new projects and be integral in shaping and growing our future. We are looking for a candidate with passion for their job, a designer that can push the boundaries, whilst creating beautiful and environmentally aware landscapes that will thrill our clients.What we're looking for:Qualified Landscape Architect with 3-5 years of experience: Demonstrated expertise in creating high-quality designs and managing projects from concept to completion, with a comprehensive understanding of council requirements and construction processes.Strong skills in design and documentation: Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Suite, and other design tools, showing excellence in design and construction understanding, with an ability to solve problems and provide innovative solutions.Project management and contract administration: Proven ability to develop thorough project briefs, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with council regulations, consistently achieving project success and client satisfaction.Excellent communication skills: Strong interpersonal abilities to build and maintain relationships with clients and consultants, adept at resolving challenges promptly and effectively.Autonomous and collaborative work ethic: Self-motivated and capable of working independently while excelling in a team environment, consistently meeting deadlines and exceeding project expectations.This role will be responsible for:Lead project delivery from initial sketch design through detailed design, documentation, and contract administration to ensure successful project completion.Collaborate with sub-consultant groups (architects, engineers, planners) to integrate factors affecting landscape design, such as planning requirements and site conditions.Produce innovative and precise landscape designs, documentation, and specifications aligned with client briefs, budgets, and project timelines.Prepare sketch and concept plans, incorporating features like buildings, roads, contours, and vegetation for client approval.Evaluate projects for council approval requirements, submit necessary documentation, and oversee compliance, ensuring all design work stays within allocated project budgets and hours.In return you can expect:Freedom to unleash your creativity in a role that invites exploration and innovation.A welcoming friendly workplace where your input and work is truly valued.A flexible work environment to support a balanced approach between work, personal life, and family commitments.A supportive work environment and management group where you can grow your career whilst actively contributing to the success of the businessA stable, privately owned business without the red tape delaying timely decisions being madeJoin us in shaping extraordinary landscapes.
