This role is instrumental in leading landscape projects that enhance our community spaces, including planning, designing, and overseeing landscape architecture and urban design projects of varying complexities.In this role, you will undertake duties such as:Developing and reviewing landscape concepts, detailed design plans, and project specifications.Managing landscape projects from inception through construction, ensuring quality and budget compliance.Collaborating with various stakeholders to implement environmentally sustainable and community-focused landscape designs.Overseeing tender processes, contractor management, and project budgets to achieve innovative and resilient urban design outcomes.Skills & ExperienceRegistration or eligibility for registration with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA).Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and AutoCAD.Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and manage complex timelines.Demonstrated experience in landscape planning, design, and sustainable development practices.Additional InformationPermanent, full-time role with a monthly rostered day off.Free Gym & Pool Membership to both Leisure Centres!Access to exceptional employee benefits.Impact the Community in a Big WayThe City of Canning aims to be a welcoming and thriving city, giving our people an opportunity to thrive through work that truly makes a difference!
