The RoleWe are looking for a
Senior Landscape Architect
with
5 to 10 years'
experience in a similar role to join our team on a permanent basis. The role will encompass all aspects of master planning, concept design, documentation, contract administration, quality control, project management, client negotiation and management.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead landscape projects from concept through to completionLiaise with Directors to determine appropriate fees and achievable time frames for work and to manage personal workflowsReport to Directors on progress and billing cyclesManage self and staff to deliver projects to agreed time frames and budgetsUndertake contract documentation, specification writing, contract administration inclusive of variations, project advice notices and claims, quality control and OH+S reporting.Assist Directors in improving practice systems, policy and processesLiaise with clients, stakeholders and sub-consultants
Key Requirements5 to 10 years' experience in a similar rolePassionate about design, attention to detail and being a part of a close and creative teamExceptional communication and presentation skills (both graphic and oral)Excellent time management skills and ability to work to deadlines, prioritise work and delegateExperienced in coordination and working with clients and consultantsProficient in Vectorworks, Adobe suite, MS office, Sketch up, hand illustrationExperienced in preparing 3D visualisations and managing BIM (although not essential)Bachelor's Degree/ Masters in Landscape Architecture or accepted equivalent experienceAustralian citizenship or permanent residencyCurrent driver's licence
