Landsite is a landscape architecture / urban design / environmental practice located in Byron Bay, NSW. We have a diverse client base, with active projects located in Melbourne, Regional Victoria, Sydney, Northern NSW, and SE Queensland predominantly in residential estate development projects.
Our projects offer exposure to a wide range of professional activities and responsibilities from site investigation, project inception & detail design / documentation through to project implementation including:
PlaygroundsCivic Precincts & Urban DesignWaterways and WetlandsVisual Impact AssessmentPublic Art InstallationsWe seek a highly motivated and talented senior landscape architect with a minimum of 10 years' professional experience as a landscape architect to provide project management, oversee design / documentation outcomes and assist with project implementation. The role comprises significant client interaction and practice management tasks. You will be part of a core team working out of our Byron Bay office, with interstate travel required from time to time to service clients and projects.
The successful applicant will have responsibility for large scale, multi-staged projects in Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland.
Our new Senior Landscape Architect will have:
a degree (or higher) in Landscape Architecturebe a registered Landscape Architect with AILAdemonstrated practical experience managing detailed / large multi-staged landscape projectsdemonstrated practical experience working in multi-disciplinary teamsa strong design ethic and keen technical skillswell-developed graphic communication skillscomputer literacy in AutoCAD and Adobe software packagesdemonstrated adaptability in the preparation of written technical material (specifications / landscape reports, etc)demonstrated experience in managing / mentoring professional staffbe client and service delivery focuseda current driver's licence and access to their own vehicleThe successful applicant must have the right to work and live in Australia. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
We anticipate interviews for selected candidates will occur during January 2025, with a successful candidate to commence on, or around Monday 17 March 2025.
