Senior Landscape Architect

RPS is a leading Landscape Architecture consultancy by challenging the traditional separation between natural and built environments and helping our clients harness the productivity, liveability and sustainability benefits of inspired landscape design.

Our award-winning team are looking to grow, and we are seeking a highly-organised and proficient Senior Landscape Architect to be based at either our Brisbane or Sunshine Coast office.
You will be responsible for providing appropriate design solutions, documentation and ensuring client requirements are achieved in a profitable and cost-efficient manner.

As part of a multidisciplinary group, you will also have the chance to work with colleagues in urban design, planning, survey, project managers, business case professionals, heritage and environment specialists to name a few.

As a Landscape Architect, you will have exposure to the full scope of the landscape design process across various industry sectors with a strong focus on urban regeneration across Victoria, ACT, New South Wales and Queensland with the opportunity to travel.
You will work on exciting award-winning projects including:
Newstead Waterfront Harmony Town Centre ABOUT THE JOB
Assist in achieving a successful project from inception to delivery and ensuring client satisfaction through the on-time delivery of a quality product.
Prepares plans and documents for projects, including: Computer-based plans (e.g.
AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign) Hand drawn sketch plans Written reports Specifications Monitor project progress, identifying potential issues and proactively assisting client managers in finding solutions.
Assists client manager where required to ensure monthly invoices are completed on time and WIP is invoiced regularly.
Stakeholder management internally and externally with clients, government subcontractors, sub-consultants and industry bodies.
YOU WILL HAVE
A tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture (BBE) or equivalent as recognised by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) is preferred but not essential.
Ideally you will have 10+ years previous experience in landscape architecture design within a professional practice.
Have professional services consultancy experience.
Efficient user of relevant computer packages, i.e.
AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop required.
Comprehension of other computer packages such as Revit, Sketch-up, Lumion is advantageous.
