About the role Hunter Local Land Services is looking for a Senior Land Services Officer to join their team with a focus on delivering sustainable ag, beef production, small farm business and pasture production extension.
Key responsibilities will include: Organising and running extension events Providing advice and extension services to landholders on developing and managing adaptive, sustainable grazing systems Designing and delivering rural extension projects Offering technical advice and extension services to landholders on natural resource management and enhancement within farm and grazing systems Providing technical advice and extension services to landholders on soil and plant health Our ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in adaptive grazing systems, soil health, plant health, and natural resource management within farming environments. Proven project management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills will be your greatest assets as training facilitation with various stakeholders is required.
Essential Requirements:
A degree in agricultural, environmental, natural resource management, biosecurity and emergency management and/or equivalent level of industry knowledge and experience Current NSW Driver Licence and the ability and willingness to travel Ability and willingness to undertake a police check and medical clearance If you're ready to make a tangible impact in the agricultural sector and help landholders adopt cutting-edge, sustainable practices, we want to hear from you!
