Local Land Services (LLS) is an Executive Agency of the Department of Regional New South Wales. It provides quality, customer-focused services to landholders and the community across New South Wales. Position Type : Senior Land Services Officer MEMS (Grade 6) – Project Lead, temporary full-time 17th October 25 Location : Bega (will consider Moruya) Salary : Starting from $106,025 p.a. + superannuation Department : South East Local Land Services (LLS) Diversity and inclusion are core values of the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development. About the role As the Senior Land Services Officer, you will be responsible for centrally coordinating MEMS initiatives within the South East region. MEMS is a key NSW Government initiative designed to protect the state's coastline, estuaries, and waterways, while enhancing community resilience and strengthening coastal industries.
Your role will focus on ensuring that LLS projects, such as riparian restoration, riverbank rehabilitation and unsealed road remediation, are delivered effectively and consistently across regions. You will collaborate with project teams, streamline processes, and ensure that all projects align with the overall goals of MEMS.

Key responsibilities Oversee and coordinate the delivery of MEMS projects within South East LLS. Provide support and guidance on project management processes and frameworks to regional teams. Manage and review budgets, reporting, and governance documents to ensure compliance and consistency. Work to streamline project delivery and enhance collaboration across projects. Represent South East LLS in committees and working groups as required. About You: Experience in project management, particularly within land and environmental management programs, is essential. Proven ability to lead complex projects, meet funding and output targets, and manage stakeholder relationships. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a larger team. Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing circumstances, and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes. Need more information?
