Ongoing Full Time Location: Cobar or Bourke Salary commencing from $106,025 p.a + super See the impact on your community As the Senior Land Services Officer, Land Management, you will have the chance to work hand in hand with rural landholders, stakeholders, partners and industry groups to provide advice and extension services in relation to Land Management.
We're looking for people to join the team – people who are passionate about rural land management and biodiversity conservation and are keen to make a difference by working with landholders to deliver land management outcomes
Want the basics? To be successful in the role you will need;
Previous experience and/or qualifications in Land Management and/or Natural Resource Management and Agriculture Ability to provide timely, effective high quality frontline advice and extension services Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret complex legislation and experience in using client relationship databases Demonstrated interest in native vegetation management and/or agricultural productivity projects Proven experience in leading projects, with strong written and verbal communication skills to write and deliver reports and plans Ability to work from one of the locations specified as field-based work on site is required Our ideal candidates will have a have a true passion for working with landholders within Regional NSW and eagerness to be a part of Western Local Land Services and what we represent. You will be able to work independently and as part of a dynamic and busy team. You will also be willing to lean in on any Emergency/Biosecurity work when required.
