About the role
The role of a JavaScript developer encompasses various responsibilities related to designing, developing, and maintaining web applications, websites, and other software products.
You will be responsible for: Lead the design and implementation of responsive React-based user interfaces for internal and external users.Lead and mentor a team while collaborating with multiple data interfaces for data exchange.Develop rich applications using HTML5/CSS/JavaScript and ReactJS.Demonstrate proficiency in Java 11 and cloud-based development environments.Utilize experience with API and micro-service architecture to enhance application functionality.Guide other developers and technical staff on best practices for UI development.Review work from other developers to ensure consistent implementation of designs, techniques, and tools.Collaborate effectively with developers and staff across technical and non-technical teams in a cross-functional Agile environment.Cross-skill team members to enhance overall team capabilities.Participate in management discussions regarding team performance, outcomes, and training needs.Collaborate with management on cross-team designs and guide AUSTRAC on the selection and implementation of plugins, extensions, and toolkits.Essential requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.years of experience in frontend development with a focus on ReactJS.Proven experience leading teams and projects, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.Solid experience developing applications using HTML5/CSS/JavaScript and ReactJS.Proficiency in Java 11 and cloud-based development environments.Experience with API and micro-service architecture.Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Ability to mentor and guide team members on UI development best practices.Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.Minimum Baseline Clearance is required.Benefits Supportive and diverse workplace cultureProfessional Team EnvironmentFlexible working Environment
