What role will you play? As a Senior Java Engineer, you willbe responsible for architecture, design, development, testing and operations. You will analyse an understand the problems to deliver reliable software solutions.Which will help drive our initiatives forward, including New Application Development, features, and migration activity.
What you offer 6+ years' of practical experience coding in Core JavaExperience with modern Java functionality and experience with SOLID principles and functional programming4+ years' of practical experience with Spring and Spring BootUnderstanding of microservices architectureAbility to review, refactor and improve the design of existing codeExperience in RDBMS and SQLExperience with SDLC tools (e.g. Bamboo, Jenkins, JIRA, GIT, Confluence)Experience using and developing RESTful APIsExperience with cloud technologies in AWS, such as Docker or KubernetesExposure to front end technologies such as Angular or ReactExperience with messaging systemsProficiency on the Linux command line.We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
