Senior Java Developer

An excellent opportunity has arose for a Senior Java Developer to join our clients team on a 6 month contract

Role Title: Senior Java Developer

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 20/12/2024

Pay Rate: $840 per day + Super

Hours: 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week

The ideal candidate will deliver solutions end-to-end (design through to deployment and support). You will have strong interpersonal skills, analytical and problem solving ability and will work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to build and maintain effective partnerships, provide advice and resolve issues. You have the ability to influence, be creative and a strategic thinker who is a natural problem solver.

Requirements

Degree qualification in related field or equivalent significant experience.
Extensive experience in Java, jsf, struts, Wildfly and bespoke Java applications.
Strong competency with relational databases Oracle enterprise solutions preferred (database management, PLSQL, triggers and embedded functions), extensive experience delivering solutions end-to-end (design through to deployment and support) and familiarity and/or exposure with HR and Payroll Systems.
Understanding of modern build chain (CI/CD & IaC) configuration and deployments.
Containerisation configuration and development inclusive of securely managing application secrets.
Exposure to monitoring tools (eg: new relic, sumologic, splunk) and the ability to translate value to the platform team
Experience with HR systems is highly desirable
