We are looking for a motivated Senior IT Support Engineer with exceptional troubleshooting skills and a strong commitment to customer service.
At BizLinQ Technology, we provide comprehensive IT support services, covering everything from servers and networking to desktop support, mobility, virtualization, and cloud computing.
We're seeking an experienced and enthusiastic professional who can effectively resolve daily IT service requests and has a solid understanding of IT service delivery for corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide remote and on-site technical support to users, addressing their IT needs.
Monitor system performance and automate monitoring processes, implementing necessary remediation actions.
Perform backup support services and execute remediation measures as needed.
Install, configure, and maintain server and desktop devices for optimal performance.
Collaborate with third-party vendors to resolve technical issues and procure services.
Prepare proposals and quotes, and document IT systems for clients.
Travel to client locations to deliver on-site support as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar IT support role, providing 2nd and 3rd level support to corporate clients.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer focus and ability to build solid working relationships.
Experience with a Managed Service Provider (MSP) and a focus on service delivery.
Presales experience with the ability to contribute to IT proposals and quotes.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance.
Tertiary IT qualifications (University or College/TAFE).
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Proactive and energetic approach to IT support with a commitment to service excellence.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Eagerness to learn and expand your knowledge.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Technical Skills:
Troubleshooting skills for Operating Systems and Applications (Microsoft Windows & Mac OS).
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 administration, including Exchange, MS Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
Experience with Active Directory administration (On-Premises, Azure, and Hybrid).
Ability to configure and install computer hardware (servers, desktops, laptops, networking equipment).
Knowledge of networking and Wi-Fi (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, etc.).
Familiarity with server virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware) and backup solutions.
Experience with operating system patching and mitigation.
Knowledge of antivirus endpoint protection (Kaspersky, Webroot, Sophos).
Valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
Desirable Skills (not essential):
Microsoft MCSE/MCITP/MCP certification.
Exposure to websites and CMS platforms such as WordPress.
Familiarity with VOIP technologies (MS Teams Telephony).
Exposure to audiovisual technologies.
Skills in firewall installation and management.
Compensation: The remuneration package will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
