Senior It Security Engineer

Senior IT Security Engineer - Permanent - Parramatta/Hybrid A new role within a leading well known Not-For-Profit has opened up as a Senior IT Security Engineer.
The role will work within a strong security team to help with the implementation and improvement of security tools within the organisation.
This is a permanent opportunity based in Parramatta with flexible working arrangements and the potential for remote working for the right candidate.
About the role: This role is responsible for the day to day maintenance and upkeep of the client's computer systems within the Information Security domain.
Review configurations, suggest and implement improvements that lead to stronger security controls Responsible for the proactive and reactive threat mitigation for all IT security threats Using available security controls and processes to proactively identify, mitigate and remediate threats to the client's computer environment About you: Self motivated and people focused engineer who is eager and ready to come in and begin working on large projects.
Experience with implementing new security tools and improving existing tools.
3-5 years' experience in a security analyst or security engineer role or equivalent with a strong infrastructure background Experience implementing and supporting cloud technologies and platforms with a focus on Azure Experience performing forensic examination of Windows, Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, DNS, DHCP, Network Traffic If this role fits you please apply or contact me at 0487 438 746 or email ******
