As Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will lead the roadmap, design, implementation and securing of critical infrastructure uplifts. A major part of this role will include integrating various operational entities into a unified structure.
If you have an in-depth understanding of best practice approaches with industry standard technologies, as well as experience in infrastructure changes related to mergers and acquisitions, we want to talk to you!
Key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Taking the lead in managing existing on-prem and cloud (Azure) infrastructure Contribute to the development of infrastructure strategiesDesign and lead critical systems uplift projects including further cloud technology (Azure) adoptionCoach and mentor Infrastructure Engineers on best practices to ensure security and availabilityReviewing existing solutions, designs, and systems architecture and making recommendations for future upgrades including designing disaster recovery solutionsIntegrate acquired entities into The Five Group corporate IT environmentWho are we looking for? 8+ years in similar rolesStrong experience designing and implementing fit-for-purpose enterprise-grade infrastructure (server and network) solutionsAbility to design, develop and deploy cloud strategiesDemonstrated experience in AD/AAD identity migrations from business acquisitions or mergersThorough understanding of Azure technologies including device management solutions (InTune)Solid experience with server virtualization technologies (VMware) and storage systemsUnderstanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices for securing IT infrastructurePrevious experience administering and managing IT operating systems: Windows, MacOS, iOS and Linux in a VMWare environmentExperience supporting Microsoft 365 suite of productsAbility to influence and drive large technical decision processes and implementationsExcellent communication and time management skills.We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture of opportunity to reflect the communities within which we operate.
