Hunter Executive Search Consultants are currently partnering with IntoWork Australia. They are currently in search of a highly motivated and seasoned Senior IR/ER Specialist to deliver expert employee and industrial relations advice to our Human Resources (HR) and leadership teams.

About the Role: Reporting directly to the HR Manager - People and Performance, the Senior IR/ER Specialist will spearhead the development of strategies for handling intricate disciplinary matters, encompassing conducting investigations and representing the organisation in any external claims (e.g., Fair Work).
You will identify potential IR/ER challenges and opportunities, furnishing expert guidance to HR Advisors, Senior Leaders, and Managers on sensitive issues, while ensuring strict compliance with legislation and policies. Leading IR/ER projects and serving as a subject matter expert on HR initiatives, including supporting in any Enterprise Agreement negotiations, are key responsibilities.
Your role will also entail coaching and mentoring the HR team, while contributing significantly to their HR culture by continuously enhancing HR policies and initiatives through industry best practices and benchmarking.
This role operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, requiring adept management of high-volume activity with competing deadlines, and catering to the diverse needs of stakeholders.
To excel in this role, you must possess robust experience in IR/ER Workplace Relations within an organisation, exceptional leadership skills, a proactive approach to risk mitigation and compliance, and a desire for fostering a collaborative and celebratory team environment.
Adaptability, attention to detail, and innovative problem-solving skills are crucial attributes for success.
