The role We're looking for a highly experienced iOS Developer to join our team in developing and maintaining the ServiceM8 iOS app — the sole mobile application and fundamental part of the ServiceM8 solution, used 24/7 by trade & service business around the world to work smarter.
In this role you will be the lead on developing, maintaining and innovating the ServiceM8 iOS app, working with other developers, product managers & UI/UX designers, and reporting to ServiceM8's CTO.
Responsibilities In this role you will:
Lead and collaborate with team members to prototype, build & test new versions of the ServiceM8 iOS app.Lead architectural design and collaboration for implementing new features.Identify shortcomings and opportunities in current technology and architecture, and implement solutions.Identify gaps in automated testing and implement solutions.Provide technical guidance to other developers.Stay up to date with iOS development technologies, and identify and promote opportunities to make use of these technologies.To be the right fit for this role, you'll need to have: Extensive, demonstrated iOS development experience on high-traffic, business-grade iOS applications.Technical proficiency and demonstrated experience as an iOS Developer using Swift and Objective-C.Development experience using common IDE and source systems (Xcode, Git).Experience in continuous test automation tooling (XCTest, XCUI).A thorough understanding of JSON & iOS Auto Layout.A passion for following and working with the latest Apple iOS technologies, such as AR and AI.A shared belief in our values.It would be awesome if you also have: Experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment.Experience using GraphQL.Experience using GitLab.What we offer Working at ServiceM8 means challenging, rewarding work that matters.
