Senior Investments Market Data SpecialistOur client is a leader in the financial services domain and they are seeking an experienced individual with exposure in both investments and market data to join their team on a permanent basis.
This role will be pivotal in assisting with the implementation of their market vendor strategy as well as being the bridge between front office stakeholders and investment data.
Along with your extensive experience working in the investments domain, to be considered for this role you must have some exposure in managing third party data vendors such as Bloomberg, Factset, Blackrock Aladdin etc.

Key responsibilities for this role are: Work closely with internal stakeholder groups to foster positive relationships and to understand their data requirements.Act as the bridge between investment data vendors and front office investment teams to resolve issues and highlight potential improvements.Be a main contact for query management, vendor reporting and service renewals.Assist in the implementation of the market data vendor framework to improve the overall benefit of the organisation from a commercial perspective.Analyse and determine the required data feeds from external vendors to support the investment teams.Promote market data guidelines, policies and governance across various geographic locations.Conduct requirements gathering and see out the end-to-end procurement process, including contract reviews, agreements and onboarding/offboarding. Key skillset required for this role: Tertiary education in commerce, finance or equivalent.Over 6 years of experience working in the investments/funds management/market data domain.Proven experience in procuring market data services and supporting a complex market data environment.Excellent vendor management experience.Strong commercial acumen.Strong experience in developing relationships with internal and external stakeholder groups.Experience in assisting with data governance/quality processes and adhering to organisational policies. This role is a hybrid role and will require the successful candidate to come into the office 3 days a week.
