As the Senior Investigations Analyst, you will provide support to and in partnership with the Senior Manager, Financial Crime AML/CTF. You will implement the strategic priorities for internal fraud investigations and reporting at Great Southern Bank. Additionally, you will provide critical support to the Financial Crime AML/CTF Team by managing complex AML/CTF investigations to the highest standards. This will ensure we efficiently and effectively manage all internal fraud incidents and suspected incidents and complex AML/CTF matters to protect our customers and the Bank from criminal activity and its commensurate risks. You will play a critical role in influencing and embedding effective Financial Crime Management activities across Great Southern Bank, supporting internal fraud and AML/CTF education, risk management and control activities undertaken across the enterprise.
Your Responsibilities
You will support the Senior Manager, Financial Crime AML/CTF to establish and effectively implement performance metrics that support streamlined and compliant results. You will ensure daily operational monitoring and response strategies, priorities and processes are fully aligned and executed to ensure the achievement of all performance metrics. You will investigate, with Senior Management oversight, all internal fraud incidents and suspected incidents to a civil standard of proof (balance of probabilities) by gathering and analysing relevant information while adhering to all necessary investigation and evidence management protocols. Your Experience:
Experience and/or understanding of financial crime risks across the financial services industry; Demonstrable experience and/or exposure to criminal investigation techniques including evidence management and presentation and understanding of relevant legal procedures; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g. AML/CTF, fraud, accounting, finance, business, law, IT, investigations, criminology) from a recognised tertiary institution, or studying towards the same; Experience within the Financial Services or related industry. #J-18808-Ljbffr
