Senior Internal Auditor

A growing team within the Government sector is recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor that will be responsible for managing end-to-end audits across the business.
This will provide exposure to Compliance, Operational Risk and Regulatory audits with extensive stakeholder engagement.
The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient and will possess strong interpersonal and report writing skills.

Qualifications & Experience Required: Qualified or part qualified CA / CPA / ACCA / CIA OR Degree with 5+ years' Internal Audit experience in industry or chartered.
Big 4 or Mid-tier Chartered experience preferred (present or past).
Experience gained within any state, federal or local government entity in Australia is highly advantageous.
Superior communication and people skills.
Adaptable, self-directed and a strong team player.
Able to work independently or within a team environment.
Must have Australian Citizenship, this is Non-Negotiable.
