About the role We're excited to offer an opportunity for a Senior Internal Auditor to join our skilled Internal Audit team. In this role, you will take charge of providing independent, objective assurance and advisory activities designed to add value and improve the operations of our Group, its related entities and the Market business units. Your role will lead and support internal audit projects, taking ownership of assignments and activities designed to evaluate and improve the organisation's governance, risk management and control processes, in an exciting and evolving business environment.
In addition, you will provide advisory services and undertake special assignments, including management-initiated reviews, data analytics initiatives, facilitation services and fraud investigations. The successful person will have the opportunity to see the entire lifecycle of their engagements and also see direct impact of what they do across the organisation.
A little about you: Proven experience in Internal and/or External Audit, with relevant experience at a "Big 4" firm, professional services or a large corporate organisation. Contributes to the success of a multi-disciplinary team through proactive collaboration to achieve desired results. Proven track record of delivering value-added assurance and advisory services in the energy, utilities or comparable environments. Ability to effectively communicate and manage stakeholders' expectations, balancing diplomacy with assertiveness. Experience in IT, Continuous Auditing, and Data Analytics is advantageous. Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge: Tertiary qualification in accounting, commerce, economics or engineering is preferable. CA, CPA, CIA or CISA is preferable. Working knowledge of governance, risk, and control frameworks. Knowledge of the energy sector and industry trends, with analytical skills and curiosity to address the "what, so what and now what #J-18808-Ljbffr
