Finnis Architecture and Interiors, is an award-winning architectural firm renowned for innovative design and construction. We are seeking a passionate, creative, and detail-oriented Senior Interior Designer to join our dynamic team and lead us to new heights.
The Role As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be at the forefront of our projects, driving excellence from inception to completion. This role offers a unique blend of creative design, technical expertise, and project management opportunities.
Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Manage multiple projects from inception to completion, including liaison with clients, authorities, and consultants.Design Excellence: Prepare interior concepts, detailed plans, and construction documents while ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and project specifications.Documentation Focus: Lead and excel in the preparation of construction documents and selection of finishes and fixtures.Client Relations: Professionally represent Finnis as one of the main contact on projects, organising client presentations and maintaining strong relationships.Team Collaboration: Work with project teams to meet deadlines, budgets, and client expectations.Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with products, industry trends, codes, and regulations.Business Development: Drive growth and profitability within the Interior Design department.We're Looking For: 5+ years of interior design experience in high-end residential projectsProven experience managing projects independently and as part of a teamSound knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes and NCCProficient knowledge of Revit software from concept to documentationExperience using Enscape (or similar) is desirable but not requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail, creativity, and passion for designAbility to thrive under pressure and manage multiple projectsAustralian Driver's license and access to a vehiclePermanent Australian work rights with no restrictionsWhat We Offer: Competitive salary package commensurate with experienceProfessional development opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative work environmentRegular team events and activitiesMembership to select industry associationsAccess to confidential counselling servicesJoin Our Team If you're ready to take your Interior Design career to the next level in a dynamic, supportive environment, we want to hear from you!
