As an experienced ITS engineer, you will apply standards and a best practice approach to the leading and delivery of ITS projects.
You will:Lead and prepare project lifecycle documents for ITS projects including proposals, concept designs, detailed designs, and operations and maintenance documents.Provide technical advice and reviews on a variety of ITS projects.Be accountable for the development and implementation of Systems Engineering Artifacts.Proactively build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Help to identify and communicate project risks and project opportunities throughout project lifecycles.Develop teamwork skills, having the opportunity to lead design teams.Participate in Community of Practice and employee network groups.Understand local strategy and growth drivers and client issues.Here's what you'll needRelevant Tertiary Engineering Degree or similar.Prior Australian ITS design infrastructure project experience is essential, including:Developing Detailed Design documentation.Asset placement, structural & civil coordination and constructability.Cross-discipline coordination.Executing Detailed Design through full project lifecycle.High level of capability in technical report writing.Electrical, Controls or Telecommunications network design.Desirable experience includes:Development of Concept of Operations and Operational Design Reports.Development of Systems Engineering artifacts.Traffic Control Signals design.Road Lighting design.Strong understanding in implementation of Quality management and independent review process.Ensure compliance with local and national codes and standards.Experience with Stakeholder engagement and management.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Maintain Continuous Professional Development and track market trends.Work under minimal guidance, acting as a resource for less experienced team members.Jacobs.
