What you will be responsible for: You will lead key transformation projects, integrating legacy systems with AWS serverless solutions using TypeScript and Node.js alongside PHP or Python.
You will develop containerised applications with Docker and Kubernetes, driving the adoption of microservices.
You will work closely with Business Analysts and Solution Architects, translating complex requirements into scalable technical solutions.
You will guide and mentor junior developers on best practices and high-quality coding.
What you will bring to the role: Your experience with TypeScript, Node.JS and (or) Python.
Your experience designing, deploying and managing containerised applications using Docker or Kubernetes.
Your experience utilising serverless architectures such as AWS Lambada.
Your comprehensive knowledge of modern architectural design principles, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD) for structuring complex software systems and Data Mesh for scalable data architecture in decentralised environments.
Your proven experience with integrating diverse systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP, and GraphQL for efficient data querying and manipulation.
Your familiarity with API gateways such as AWS API Gateway or Kong and experience in managing distributed systems through event-driven platforms like Apache Kafka or AWS EventBridge.
Your proven success in developing resilient systems that effectively meet intricate business needs Your confidence in communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.
