About the Role INDEX Consultants has partnered with a Public Sector client to deliver a state-of-the-art digital healthcare solution.
This project aims to enhance their cloud-first strategy and elevate sector-wide integration, prioritising data security and reliability.
This project is a multi-million-dollar, fully funded project.
The Integration Developer will play a crucial role in supporting ICT business systems and services for the Healthcare Sector.
The Developer will be responsible for managing integration routes and interfaces, ensuring adherence to best-practice software development and ITIL Service Management Framework guidelines.
Key Responsibilities: Lead functional requirements gathering, design, development, and testing phases related to the Health Sector.Solve technical problems and provide technical support, taking a lead role in diagnosing application systems issues.Manage and mitigate issues and risks associated with integration projects, maintaining detailed work estimates and schedules.Support Business as Usual activities for the team, maintaining integration to multiple downstream applications.Support the development of technical skills among integration team members, ensuring continuous improvement.Required Skills and Experience: Mandatory: Minimum 5 years of technical integration experience covering design, coding, testing, implementation, and support processes.Mandatory: Experience with Rhapsody Integration Engine.Mandatory: Experience within State or Federal Government.Proficiency in HL7 / CDA messages and their transformation processes would be ideal but not mandatory.Strong knowledge of SQL and database technologies, particularly Oracle.Ability to analyse data, architect solutions, and document technical specifications effectively.Mandatory Requirement: Australian Permanent Residents or Citizens only.Must be Melbourne-based - The role requires a Hybrid working arrangement.INDEX Consultants value equal opportunity and advocate for diversity and inclusion.
