Permanent, full-time opportunity to join our Digital Division's ERP/EAM Technical Services teamBrisbane, Toowoomba, Maryborough, Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville, or CairnsFrom $171k + 14.75% super (10-day fortnight)Our Digital Division currently has a permanent, full-time opportunity for a Senior Integration Developer (referred to internally as Senior Integration Specialist) to be located at any of our major locations – Brisbane, Toowoomba, Maryborough, Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville, or Cairns.
About your new role: As a Senior Integration Developer (Senior Integration Specialist), you design, develop, and maintain integrations across EQL's key enterprise systems, enabling seamless data exchange and driving operational efficiency. Your role focuses on ensuring our diverse and complex network of systems operates in harmony, so teams across the business have the right data, in the right systems, at the right time to perform their roles effectively.
Your work is essential to maintaining stable and resilient system performance while supporting our ongoing transition to cloud-based infrastructure. With SAP BTP at the forefront, we continue moving our systems and applications to the cloud, building a stronger digital environment to support our evolving operations in the energy sector.
You collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including product owners, technical specialists, and solution architects, to ensure integration solutions align with business requirements. Your role involves designing and delivering new integrations as well as troubleshooting and problem-solving to address integration challenges and enhance business continuity. Managing the full software development lifecycle is a key focus – from initial design and testing to production release and documentation – ensuring smooth delivery at every stage.
With exposure to multiple technology stacks – spanning both on-premise and cloud-based systems such as SAP and Oracle – you bridge gaps between platforms and play a significant role in advancing our adoption of future-ready SAP technologies. Operating within an agile framework, you drive innovation across integration solutions, enhancing efficiencies through process automation and accelerated development cycles.
The remuneration for your new role is from $171k plus 14.75% super for a 10-day fortnight. You also have the option for a 9-day fortnight which is from $151k plus 14.75% super.

Salary sacrifice options available for novated leases for personal use.About you: You're an experienced integration developer with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Alternatively, you possess the equivalent hands-on experience required for success.
You have a strong technical background in coding and system integration, with extensive experience working across platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise systems.
Your expertise includes cloud-based integration tools and technologies, facilitating seamless data exchange across diverse applications, systems, and IT environments. Experience with cloud platforms – particularly AWS or similar environments – sets you apart. While prior experience with SAP is highly regarded, you're eager to develop your skills in this space if needed.
You bring a proven track record in designing, developing, and delivering integration solutions, contributing across the full software development lifecycle. This includes documenting integration designs, writing and executing test scripts, and managing smooth production releases.
A highly skilled problem-solver, you excel at identifying root causes and resolving integration issues efficiently to ensure minimal disruption to operations. You're also prepared to participate in an on-call roster.
Your ability to collaborate effectively across teams and engage with stakeholders at all levels is key. You are adept at translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences and possess strong interpersonal skills, allowing you to communicate clearly, negotiate effectively, and build strong working relationships in complex business environments.
