WHAT YOU'LL DO Work within a dynamic team of multidisciplinary engineers and specialists throughout the life of AUV design, integration, and test effortsSupport design and integration of AUV subsystems and components, including managing interfacesDevelop, build and operate physical integration environments to support system maturity effortsWrite, review, and execute test plans for development, integration, factory and sea testingSupport day-to-day test operations for AUV platforms, including conducting pre-mission testing, launch and recovery, vehicle tasking, and data analysisTake on responsibilities of the hands-on troubleshooting, repair, operation, and maintenance of AUVs in the fieldCapacity learn and grow individually, while mentoring junior team members effectively, building team cohesion and capacityAuthor detailed daily operational test reports to document the step-by-step execution of internal and customer facing efforts to test and evaluate AUV platforms and new capabilitiesSupport local AUV operations including supporting multiple nearshore sea test days per weekREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 8+ years experience in systems engineering, and integration and testingFamiliarity with concepts of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and control theoryKnowledge of electronics troubleshooting and ability to use basic test equipmentExperience with Linux and command line interfaces as well as software debuggingExtremely organized and detail-orientedExcellent verbal & written communication skillsA sincere commitment to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative cultureExperience with subsea operational procedures and equipment (including AUV launch and recovery systems) is advantageous, as is vehicle level testing (any domain)Ability to obtain and maintain a NV2 Security ClearanceAnduril is an equal-opportunity employer, and we encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
