This firm acts for local and international insurers, self-insureds, insurance brokers, major corporations, ASX-listed companies, ultra high net worth individuals etc.
The Role This role will see you working on interesting and complex matters in the area of financial lines, directors' and officers' liability, professional indemnity, complex coverage and from time to time commercial litigation.
You will have autonomy, client management responsibilities and you will be running your own matters in a genuinely collegiate and supportive environment.
A flavour of the work will include:
providing coverage and monitoring advice to Australian and international insurers in relation to major actions defending professional negligence claims against insolvency practitioners, accountants, engineers and other professionals claims against financial institutions, professional service firms and construction companies fraud matters including identity fraud advising on risk management and risk mitigation matters This role will also see you having the opportunity to develop strong client relationships as well as playing a pivotal role in the growth of the firm.
About You The ideal candidate will have:
At least 5 years plus pae in the area of insurance law Litigation and strategy skills Strong drafting and advisory skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently, but within a team-focused environment Enthusiasm, flexibility and adaptability Benefits & Culture On offer is a generous salary package plus bonuses.
